The process in which deviance from correct or proper behavior becomes normalized in a corporate culture. – Wikipedia

CRO Example

When rigor is sacrificed to the altar of production; consistently bending the rules so you can get it out on time. When making an exception “just one time” happens every time. Repeatedly executing bad processes to fulfill externally imposed goals that do not respect statistical methods. Examples of bad CRO processes: segmenting results, slicing runtimes, or fudging sample sizes to produce “wins” rather than interpreting result data that follows the planned parameters. Sometimes you have to push back and say no.
