CRO Example

Session replays allow you to virtually watch over the shoulder of your user and accurately see how they’re interacting with your website or application; something that quantitative numerical data (like what you see in Google Analytics or a testing platform reporting page) won’t tell you. Session replays are an important tool in an optimizer’s toolkit; they’re useful in every stage of experimentation and helps fill in the “why” behind “what” you see in test result data. It is even possible to integrate session replays with split tests and see how users interact with all the different test variations. Some of the split testing platforms even offer session replays as part of their platform (VWO, Crazy Egg, AB Tasty). There’s a reason one of the major SaaS players in the space is named FullStory. Session replay tools help you accurately tell the full story behind your data, instead of making inferences.
